I know you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Whatever traditions you have and enjoy, I say keep them going forever.
One of my favorite things to do Thanksgiving is go to McDonalds and have an Egg McMuffin. Just kidding. Wanted to see if you were paying attention. It is really playing stickball at 9 am. The annual Joltin-Joe Thanksgiving Stickball Classicwas an event that brings joy to many. We had 18 people play this year. Fathers-sons, adults and children.
We had a cast of characters playing . Check out… Continue reading
I travel the country for my business, and I’m constantly asked to give money to fight cancer. Don’t get me wrong — cancer is a disease that causes so much misery and tragedy in people’s lives, and I take it very seriously. But what I do have a problem with is “The War on Cancer.” It’s a joke.
Now maybe you think that’s harsh, and I’ve crossed the line. I’m sorry to say, but it is true. The War on Cancer is… Continue reading
Why are we all recovering from something?
Bear with me a minute, if you would. It seems that everyone I have ever in personal development is recovering from something. Some of my mentors have said that life will challenge you, we are all a work in progress, and there is function in dysfunction. I agree completely with these statements.
So why is it that so many people think that they can not achieve, are stuck in a toxic relationship, a dead end job and a life just not… Continue reading
That is a lot barking, leashes and blessings.
Dog people are special people, once you have owned a dog, you always appreciate them. They are so smart, they know when you are emotional, have tears, fears and jeers.
I can remember my dog growing up like it was yesterday. I had her in elementary, middle, high school and part of College.
She never bragged or gloated. Never any vanity to get in the way of our relationship like with humans.
People will blow off a… Continue reading
I must tell you that I amazed how so many people really do not care about health.
The whole “your health is everything” is a big Fat lie. Yes, I said it and I mean it.
I have a good friend who is a fitness professional, he has done a number of direct sales companies-supplements, etc Most of the ingredients in these products are inferior at best. He now works with a company that has nothing to do with health and is making some serious coin. He told me flat… Continue reading

I still do not know why people feel that as we age, we must break down. Who ever said that you must take medicine, pack on the pounds and get ready for the nursing home. In many countries, they honor the wisdom of the older people. We like to put them out to pasture. Out with the old and in with the new. As an athlete myself, I hear from people who tell me that I can not play Baseball forever. I have been playing since 1979 and retirement is not… Continue reading
It is August and that means hot!!! The beaches are packed and many people are on vacation. Some people are sitting inside blasting the air conditioning.
*Even in the hot weather it is important to get some sun. Even if you live in a city where there is lots of pollution. Try getting up early at sunrise and enjoy the peace. A much better way to get your Vitamin D than milk-one of the biggest scams this world has ever seen.(Http://www.NoMilk.com) You can also get outside 20 minutes befor sundown.… Continue reading
