Tasty Tuesdays #29: Can I trust the Cereal I eat for breakfast?
We all know the importance of a healthy breakfast but the fact is most people do nothing about it. In fact many people skip breakfast all together.
The logic of I am in a hurry, I need more sleep has destroyed many a person’s health. Starting out your day with a cup of coffee (it is laced with chemicals, yes even decaf.), a roll, bagel, muffin, an energy bar will not provide your body with the nutrients it needs to function.
Let’s face it we live in a world where licensed nutritionists will tell you that a bowl of cereal is healthy. Special K, Cheerios, Rice Krispies and even Kashi (Organic) is made with sugar and fake wheat.
Most families sadly under value breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day and with people working lots of hours, society is looking for the quick fix. It does not exist.
However, some company will come up with an idea and people will buy into it. It is just how the world works.

I have given you a solid choice for cereal. Go sprouted grain all the way. Your body will thank you. Oh, before I forget let’s move past cow’s milk (even skim) for our cereal. Try Almond, Hemp or Rice Milk.
