Warning:Fat Loss is not the answer

It is amazing how society is obsessed with FAT LOSS. I say eat the fat. As a Nutritionist and Exercise Physiologist, I teach my clients to eat FAT. The Health practioners in our country sadly teach too much of the Low fat, counting calorie routine which has made us fatter.
What people must have is Nutrients not the gargage that some call food.
Lets take a look:
Weight watcher frozen meals
Lean Crusine
Diet and regualr soda
Bagels
Quaker Instant Oatmeal
Perdue Chicken
Instant Coffee
Donuts
Milk
Jenny Craig package meals
The 10 items that I picked have bleached flour, chemicals, hormones, sugar,
nutrients stripped out and have NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE!
Any health professional who prescribes to these 10 clearly
should change their profession!
It is time to give people nutrients and if we keep following
the Diet Programs-Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig and Nutri-System
and the Government food pyramid, the Pharmaceutical Companies
will be the ones who win.
Make us fat and they become richer.
Most people choose to take medicine and choose to have an
UNHEALTHY LIFE.

Fat Loss:The Myths

Lets face it we in a vain society where looks matters.
People will try anything to look better and when it comes
to taking off weight the so called experts like to use the
phrase “Fat Loss.” This buzzword always gets people attention
and usually they buy hook, line and sinker.

If there is an operation, pill, powder or lotion that claims (usually lies)
it will take away the FAT that you have carrying on your HIPS, STOMACH and
BUTT for years, chances are people will PAY for it.

Why?
It is easy
Eating healthy and exercising for the rest of your life,
you do not have the time for that.

We have to work (my Dad told me growing up that 95% of people dislike their job, he was wrong, it is 99%)
Can not miss our favorite TV Shows (The Electronic Income Reducer)
What about going out with friends and family-we want to fit in, don’t we
Working out, when do I have the time?

When someones says Fat Loss, no work needed, eat whatever you want and never have to exercise,
People whip out their credit card so fast,the product (s) are sold out in 10 minutes.

Love Thy Fruit…

People believe eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It’s not as easy as you think. It’s important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for balancing your blood sugar.

FRUIT IS A MOST IMPORTANT FOOD. Let’s say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil….

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining ˘ every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc ˘ actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice – drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don’t even drink juice that has been heated up. Don’t eat cooked fruits because you don’t get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene ˘ the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

The truth about Nutrition in the schools

Recently, I had a conversation with a Nutritionist from a school system who had no clue about health.
She still believes that milk gives humans more calcium than green leafy vegetables, not true.
When I tried to explain to her how Calcium and Magnesium- 2 minerals must work together in order for the body to even be able to utilize calcium, she had no clue.
The sad part is higher education teaches that following the government food pyramid is the answer to good health.
It is all about money and Milk is a Billion dollar money maker.
It does not matter that many people are allergic to Cow’s milk.
Hey kids, if you want healthy bones stop drinking milk, eat green leafy vegetables ( Bok-Choy at top of list), exercise and do not listen to doctors, parents or teachers who tell you that MILK is good for you. It is a marketing scam!!!

Not another weight loss program

I continue to receive reports from all these people who claim they are on these fantastic programs for Lossing Weight. Ones they know will work because they are “really working hard” this time.
How long can one exercise 5 days a week, measure food, go to meetings and enjoy it.
We know the answer but many people like to lie to themselves and will have a great excuse (well thoughtout lie) when the program fails.
I know people are not supposed to be on medicine because of their behavior but we have destroyed our bodies.
I advise you to take action now and reap the benefits.
More energy, a body you are proud of, no joint pain and a smile that stretches far.
